Charlotte Balbier has been one of our favourite bridal designers since we opened our doors to the brides of Perthshire and Scotland almost three years ago. Earlier this year Charlotte married her long term beau, Edward Bedford, and wowed us all with not one but two stunning gowns.
Of course, we all queued up at this year's presentation of these gowns to Bridal Buyers and, as you'd expect, it was worth the wait.
The ‘Iscoyd Park’ collection has been named after the very venue in the idyllic Shropshire countryside, where Charlotte Balbier and Edward Bedford celebrated their marriage in December 2013.
It has been made up of over twenty new gorgeous gowns in an array of styles to suit the modern day bride, her wedding and style. As I mentioned, this new collection includes both wedding gowns worn by Charlotte on her wedding day. I couldn't resist - I ordered both and I'm delighted to tell you that you can now book in for an appointment to try ‘The Charlotte’ and ‘Iscoyd Park.’
I also chose a number of gowns from this new collection; I loved the paired down fashion forward gowns that she's introduced for the new generation bride. And of course, she knows that the Charlotte Balbier signature style and look, soft French lace and utterly feminine in charm and grace is still a big hit with more traditional brides. Have a browse through our online gallery on our Charlotte Balbier Brand Page.
For me, as a buyer, this new collection has been Charlotte's most inspiring yet. You can see the Balbier brand moving in a new and exciting direction. The collection presents timeless gowns in an array of styles, silhouettes and fabrics. And of course, she has introduced a soft Gold, Pink and Ivory colour pallet which we have ordered for Autumn / Winter 2014. It is stunning!
The 2014, ‘A Decade of Style,’ collection won the Wedding Ideas ‘Designer Of The year’ award and I just know that with the beautiful new Iscoyd Park Collection, this year is going to be just as exciting for one of our favourite Bridal Designers.
So its a huge congratulations from Apple Blossom Time to Charlotte, Edward and the team on board Iscoyd Park. (venue and gowns!)
